2nd Masters & Reorientation

Hello guys.

In short, I done a BSc and MSc in business management. My MSc however went shit, despite getting a high weighted average due to a uni specific regulation I didn't get the corresponding grade leading me to have equivalent of a 2.2 instead of upper 2.1 (UK)

been working in operations for a insurance management company however want to move into investment banking, hedge funds or management consulting. that is the dream and the golden ticket as I see it.

However obviously getting in would be nearly impossible if not impossible as I'm not a target graduate.

However recently a mate suggested to use my EU citizenship to get a free MSc in finance (or finance orbiting subjects) in Europe, Including from top world 100 rated unis. (roughly top 50-100 )

Obviously the problem is I am not in the typical student age anymore. I am 23 gonna be 24 soon.

What are your guys thoughts on this?

Do you think getting a 2nd masters from a good uni in Finance is worth it at age 24 ish and getting a graudate scheme. would graduate between age 25-26. I think that's way too old for a analyst position in IB

One side of me is kind of embarrassed the other just thinks to try and go for it no matter what people might think .

What should I do?

Pursue the finance MSc and go into IB
