3 Things to NEVER Do When Recruiting

Some people get too caught up in recruiting shit that doesn't matter. Here are a few things that aren't needed for recruiting for banking internships.

1. DO NOT purchase a financial modeling course

99% of firms do not have excel tests at the SA interview. Buying a course would be wasting your time + money

2. DO NOT have the wrong resume format

Look up "Investment Banking Resume Format" plenty of places out there to find the right format

3. DO NOT be a robot

Interviews are stressful and it can be easy to think that memorizing your answers to interview questions will make you seem polished

However, you usually end up sounding robotic and boring to the interviewer. Show your human side, crack a smile and speak with confidence (it is ok to misspeak a little)
