Advice needed-PE IR '24 and '25 IB internships secured, should I disclose to PE about my '25 offer?

As the title says, I have secured an investor relations internship this coming summer but was simultaneously recruiting for 2025 IB. I told the PE firm that I did not have any processes at the time, which was true. But I have since also accepted a 2025 offer, should I disclose it to them? They let me know that they were looking for people who would be willing to return for '25 and also ft, which I had intentions of following through with if I didn't get anything in IB. I do not want to be in jeopardy of losing this summer's internship but can't help but feel that honesty is the best policy.

Any advice is appreciated

Honesty is not the best policy. Except in fairy tales. But yes, you should disclose since you don't want to start your career devoid of morals. Besides, you are secure since you have a IB internship. Let some poor distressed sod take your PE IR slot.

Of course not. Don't say a word, now or all summer... at the end of the summer when they ask about 2025 say you enjoyed the summer but want to pursue something different. Don't tell them you already signed an offer, where you're going, etc.. and also don't put "incoming IB" two weeks later either, only do it when you start.

You owe them hard work this summer, but nothing beyond that... any place offering sophomore internships runs the risk of people doing this. Don't be silly and drop this great offer, just be smart and keep your 2025 offer to yourself.
