Answer some questions about an internship for next summer?
So i am a pre-med student in college going onto my junior year. i go to a liberal arts school in cali. Know I simply what to get a taste of the finance world because because i have always had a passion for finance(i am an econ major), and I just wanted to try working the field. Up until know all my work has been in the medical field. i really have no connections but how would i go about getting an internship. How would i get an internship at an IB? Not sure what exactly I should apply to but what would you suggest?
I am not a big fan of sales but I am an extremly hard worker and I don't mind the 100 hour workweeks, all-nighters, etc.
suggestions?

SA's have started....may have wanted to consider this earlier.... if you write like that not much anyone can do for you.
Maybe its late... I got confused with your major.
After I aware that I want get in IB field, I transfer to another University at my senior year and change the major to Finance&Administration.
^ What?
OP, just focus on FT recruiting now. And, if you can, enroll yourself in a remedial writing class.
It sounds like he is going into his junior year so he would be able to do an internship in the summer of '12, and I agree on the writing class.
