Any tips for SA recruiting season?

Current sophomore at a target losing my mind a little. There’s so much to do and so little time. Comparison is eating at me. Not having a family with finance connections is eating at me. I know I shouldn’t care about what other people are up to but it’s hard. I’m trying to get everything done, but I’m just so stressed and feel like I’m about to go into heart failure every time I open my email. I feel like I’m out of time. Any advice?

Take a deep breath bro. You’re at a target just work hard and leverage your alumni network.

Have a CRM with everyone you want to talk to. Send 100+ emails a week - be personable and not robotic.

CRM? Sorry what does that mean?

I’m trying hard but I can’t seem to find a ton of analyst 1/2s, do you recommend looking elsewhere besides LinkedIn?

And thank you, trying to not lose it lol. Everything’s so early this year…

Find people with something in common with you and have a subject line with a hook.

A CRM is a big list with everyone you want to talk to / have talked to. So where you track your progress.

Have interviews started at your target yet? Not sure how that process goes on your end

Honestly just reach out to upperclassmen. They’ll be very helpful in guiding you

Don’t get discouraged when a process doesn’t go your way. There’s always another one. Spend every second of every day for 2-3 months optimizing your chances of getting this job, then you can coast the entirety of your junior year worry-free. You got this!
