Applying to multiple roles
I know its generally not advised to do so, as it shows indecisiveness, but if the roles as under the same department (Advisory), but different roles (M&A, Valuation), is that okay, or am i then risking having interviews with the same staff?
I’m legit interviewing for 3 different groups at one bank rn. Typically HR will screen resumes and send them to each IB group. Those groups will pick candidates out of the pile. There is no cross conversation between groups so they will have no idea if you are interviewing with more than one unless you tell them.
hm i see. To be more specific, I'm applying for M&A and Valuation at a big4, both are under the same line, SaT (Strategy & Transactions). So its unlikely that ill get the same interviewer or that they'll notice it right?
Still wouldn’t happen. Two different position even if it’s under the same line.
