Background Check

I’m about to start a new job as a fresh college grad and am currently going through a background check. I realized I made a mistake when filling out the form related to my junior summer internship

In the dates section, I accidentally marked it as a current job, so it now shows as running from Jun 2024 to Apr 2025 (the day I completed my background check). It should say Jun 2024 to Aug 2024 since it was just a summer internship. The dates are correct on my resume and in all other documents.

Has anyone dealt with something like this? Should I contact the background check company, or will they flag the inconsistency themselves?
