Best Positioning for Career
Quick question,
Currently an undergrad student at a fairly well known public institution in the South East. I'm ahead in my coursework and basically have to choose a double major. Currently finance with minor in analytics. My current school is ranked 3rd Nationally in Supply Chain degrees. Should I double major in SCM just for kicks and giggles cause its a great program here, or should I double major in like accounting? Not 100% on a career field, just want options upon graduation.
Thanks.
i wouldnt major in SCM if you dont want to go into SCM. Finance/Liberal arts major (ie biology, economics, math, foreign language, even sociology) is probably the best bang for your buck in terms of a combo because it shows you can do the finance work but also have varied interests
Agreed, no reason do SCM if you've got no interest in it. If it came down to it, your time would be better spent job hunting
For sure. The time isn't the concern really, I have to hit the 120 credit mark, but coursework wise will be finished a semester early. On full scholarship, so if they're going to keep me and pay for me - what would behoove me the most?
up to you, yeah another degree might look good, but don't think it'll really make much difference in the long run
