Best way to end a networking call?

Over time I feel like I’m getting better at networking calls. Its starting to get easier to build connections with the people and have genuine conversations. The most awkward part to every call though is the end. The last thing I want to do is end the calls on a bad/awkward note. What are some polite ways that you guys end your networking calls?

What's the best way to ask for the "push"? On the first networking call I usually ask if they have anyone else I could speak with but is it okay to ask if they can put me in touch with someone on the recruiting side?

If there's a lull and you've asked your qeuestions / feel like you've stayed your visit enough, then say: "Alright, Johnny, thank you for answering my questions and providing me with a lot of helpful information about the firm. I'm really excited about this group and think it would be a great fit for me. Is there anyone you recommend I talk to get a different perspective?"

Analyst says something positive and that he'll hook you up.

"Thanks, Johnny, really appreciate the time you took out of your busy schedule to talk to me. Will for sure keep in touch. Have a great day. Bye."

Right after that, the analyst should say "Bye" as well and then you take your finger and hit the red phone button that is horizontally down.

Will update my computer soon and leave Incognito so I will disappear forever. How did I achieve Neanderthal by trolling? Some people are after me so need to close account for safety.

They all know why you're calling. They want to see if you have the chops to move forward. Thank them for their time, tell them it was very helpful and ask them (yes always be closing for something!) "I'm very interested in the industry and your firm, how would you suggest I proceed? Anyone specific I should speak with?"

They want to help you but don't make them do all the work!
