Blacrock Summer Timeline

Hey everyone,

I had my superday for BlackRock’s Finance & Strategy internship about two weeks ago and received a "pre-offer survey" as part of creating a workday account last Thursday. Since then, my recruiter asked for an updated transcript ,but its been another 4 days no update.

Just wondering if anyone has gotten an offer after a delay like this? How long do offers take after the survey?

Appreciate any insight. Thanks and good luck to others in the process.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, delays in receiving offers after a "pre-offer survey" or similar steps are not uncommon. For example, in a thread discussing BlackRock's 2020 Summer Analyst offers, a recruiter mentioned that decisions on headcount were still pending, and updates were expected by the end of September. This suggests that BlackRock's process can sometimes take longer than expected, even after significant steps like superdays or surveys.

It's also worth noting that recruiters may request additional documents, like updated transcripts, as part of their due diligence, which could further delay the timeline. While waiting can be frustrating, it's not unusual for firms like BlackRock to take extra time to finalize decisions.

If you're concerned, consider politely following up with your recruiter for an update. Good luck, and stay patient—these processes often take time!
