Bloomberg Sales and Analytics Exit Opps (London)

Hey! I'm currently a final year student from a top university in Asia. I recently secured an offer with Bloomberg within their Sales and Analytics team in London. The UK has been on my radar for a while now so the offer was super exciting to me when I initially got it. However, the more I research about it with respect to the work and exit opportunities, the more discouraged I become. It's not that I hate the idea of doing Sales and am even more than open to exploring it as a career path., it is just that I see myself more aligned to a career in Asset/Investment Management with a Buy Side firm. I have already completed my CFA Level 1 and am currently studying for the Level 2 exam. I also actively trade and invest in equity markets and have made double digit returns on my investments YTD. Keeping this in mind I have a few questions:

1. How possible is it for me to be able to transition into AM after Bloomberg? And if not AM what do the exit opportunities even look like?

2. Can an MBA/Masters help me reset and pave my way into the industry?

3. Is there a number of years after which people will stop considering me for AM roles? Because I have had too much experience in Sales?

I really appreciate any and all advice! Thanks a lot!
