Boutique IB Internship in Menlo Park / Palo Alto

Does anyone know of any boutique banks in the Menlo Park or Palo Alto area that allow interns? Not looking for a super legit structured internship, just something that will give a sophomore some exposure to the IB industry.

I am planning to cold email / cold call, but I'm asking here first to see if anyone knows of places that do offer internships. Again, not really looking for a boutique bank that recruits seriously because recruitment has most likely ended, just one that would allow an intern to work with them that I could get by cold emailing.

Thanks

most places stopped recruiting i think. most likely you will need to just ask for unpaid positions not even as an analyst probably. most places told me that they already have enough people and it will be unnecessary for them to hire. hence they just told me to improve on this and that and told me to look elsewhere.

How the fuck would we know? In general, no- most positions are already filled.

It may be possible for you to cold call firms and network like shit. After all, some firms definitely still have vacancies due to the fact that their interns may have turned them down for better opportunities. Likelihood of you getting paid housing is highly, highly unlikely though.
