Breaking into IB after retail banking - HELP

Hello everyone, my name is Zack and hoping anyone can give me some advice. I started working at a major retail bank nearly four years ago when I was 18 years old. I started as a teller and moved up to become both a banker & brokerage associate at the bank. Which is a fancy title that just means that I have a couple different licenses, can't talk to clients about investments, and just refer them to an FA. I just recently stumbled across WSO and discovered the world of investment banking... I'm going back to school full time, working full time, and am curious if the only possible thing I can do is to wait until I graduate to break into IB. If I stay the route I'm going I will have my degree in 4 years, have 8 years of experience working in retail banking, and be 4 years behind everyone else my age (I'm 22 now). What options do I really have?

Get a perfect GPA and ditch retail banking if you can for better internships.
