Change Surname to get Diversity?

hello

So i was brought up in argentina but not ethnically from there and go to semi-target uni in the US. I have a argentinian passport and although i am tanned and can pass off as hispanic, my surname is quite a dead giveaway that i am not hispanic at ALL (european). Since i cant get into SEO as its doesnt let internationals get in, i know i need every advantage i can get to break into IB in NY in the normal recruiting cycle. So i was wondering whether it would be worth it to change my surname to something more hispanic/latino sounding to make me come across as clearly hispanic to HR. Is this a worthwhile procedure - not much of an effort from my side - jsut interested about the potential upside  - especially since i already have a hispanic passport and will still be ticking the "hispanic" box. Will my hispanic sounding surname still be a "boost" in terms of passing across as Hispanic. I really dont want to be doing intervies and HR be like "what you doing here - your not latino at all". Don't really care about the ethics behind it, since i do consider myself culturally and legally argentinian. Thanks in advance

Be proud of your Germanic heritage, keep your last name as is

That’s what I’m thinking but is there actually benefit of having a diverse sounding surname vs just being able to technically say I’m diversity. Don’t want to get kicked by hr
