Citadel Summer FTAP vs. Broadway Technology Summer Intern

Hi, I have several offers for a summer internship position, and I have narrowed down the companies that I am interested in to Citadel LLC and Broadway Techonology. Citadel is offering me an internship opportunity within their Summer FTAP program which would most likely then turn into a full-time FTAP offer going forward. On the other hand, Broadway Technology is a small technology start-up based in NYC. They develop a high-frequency/low-latency trading platform for their clients (banks, hedge funds etc.). I really like Broadway's culture, and the people there. I have met their CEO, CTO and pretty much everyone else who works from their NYC location. (You can find more information about the company here: http://www.broadwaytechnology.com/). In my experience, everything that they say about the company on the website is completely, 100%, true and that basically means its a great place to work with a group of really smart people. I was wondering if anyone could provide any insight on what its like working for Citadel, and how you think Citadel compares to a company like Broadway.

Totally different cultures. Citadel is pretty competitive, and very few people i know who worked there enjoyed the experience. They do it for the money and name brand. Broadway seems like a pretty interesting place with a cool culture.

With citadel FTAP, don't expect to use it to become a trader or portfolio manager. FTAP people get pigeonholed as programmers/developers, and so if you have any desire to trade or run your own bok, it's probably not a good idea to do FTAP.
