Citi IBD vs MS Lev Fin

I have offers from Citi IBD and Morgan Stanley GCM (with a great chance of Lev Fin – having talked to 3 directors among others I know I could get it), which should I choose?

I ultimately want to do banking, and I would only take MS GCM for the chance of moving into banking at MS, or a lateral move out into a banking firm at the summer's end. I would appreciate your thoughts guys, and sorry if this post sounds fairly repetitive.

Citi if you truly want to do banking, MS if you want the pedigree and can take the risk of not getting into banking. I'd take LevFin though, x1000 times more than Citi IBD.

Funny you ask, two of my fraternity brothers were actually in MS Lev Fin - fantastic opps - people don't like to say it but the name carries a huge weight. One of them got interviews at top shops (GS/BX) for IBD and is going to FT there. The other one lateraled into a top IBD product group at MS.
