JPM chicago? All of the technicals will be about debt and financial statements as they relate to creditworthiness. aka you should be comfortable answering questions such as "what could a sudden buildup of inventory mean" or "how do you calculate operating cash flows?" know all your debt ratios turnovers coverage etc.

Thanks Gstackle, very helpful. Raptor.45, do you know of any technical guides? That will be useful for Commercial banking? I have both WSO and M&I guide, however they don't address commercial banking technical.
I wouldn't worry too much about technicals. I've been through a few commercial banking interviews and none of them were heavy on technical knowledge.
Some common questions:
If you could look at one statement to evaluate the financial health of a company, what would it be? (also all the main cash flow metrics) 5 C's of credit Credit risk Coverage ratios (DSCR, etc)
Interviews were fit for the most part, it's definitely not rocket science and they want to see if you can fit in with their culture.

Just received an invite to a super day for a commercial banking analyst position (think Citi / BoA / JPM). I know there will be 3-5 interviews with a lot of accounting questions. I was wondering if anyone had any insight or tips, I wasn't able to find much by searching to forums.

had my superday for a BB commercial bank SA last wednesday....heard on that friday got the phone offer official letter will be here this week. Good luck.
