Community College to IB
Hello,
I’m a former community college student and just started my junior year at an up and coming semi-target as an Economics major. I was wondering if I could get some advice on the topic.
Currently I have no internship experience and a mid GPA 3.4-3.6, although I have a leadership position at a finance club from my CC, and I’m participating in a J&J case competition that is related to IB specifically M&A. I wanted to ask what are the steps I should take to be able to land an internship in IB, ER, or S&T. (I’m thinking about pushing my graduation to December 2025 instead of May 2025 to recruit again).

If i were you I’d aim for less competitive but relevant internship exp. I went from CC —> Semi Target —> 2023 BB S&T —> 2024 BB IB. PM me if you have any questions.
