Confused Undergrad

Hello,

Like many others on here I am a victim of the classic internship hunt failure. I failed to get an internship anywhere in my second year. However, I have just graduated and secured an Internship at a small unknown bank in their Global Markets division. In all honesty I do not think I am cut out for the front office, the hours, the intellectual strain, I don't think I can manage. However, I do not want to settle in the back office in Operations or something like compliance. Securing this internship was honestly the biggest relief of my life, as i worked so hard and submitted so many applications, but I am just unsure where to go from here.

My question is, with only this internship in a small, unknown bank, should I take a year out and recruit for off-cycle internships using this current one to get leverage for a bigger bank or get a full time back office role until I figure out what exactly I want to do?

What is the most valuable route to benefit me long term?

Thank You
