Am I tripping or have I seen the same post before? Same story as always, and frankly for any other posts in the same situation.

Non-target makes things tough even in a good market. Combine that with an okay GPA, lack of direct FO internships, and bad market conditions where even people with top GPAs, strong internships, and target background are struggling, and that most FT recruiting was done in August to October means that looking for FT in banking is likely a long shot.

Others have mentioned before - given your situation, it’s best to either look and network at a regional boutique bank, which even at this point, seems very competitive, or go for something adjacent, like TAS or Audit etc., or something at all finance related (FP&A maybe), or delay graduation/go for a masters. It’s tough but I assume you would rather hear the truth of the matter and find a way to best set up for success than me tell you that everything is fine. Best wishes for good luck on your end.
