yea man I did this last year and nothing came up for about 3,4 months. I ended up rocking the only interview I got from one of the first firms I emailed. All it takes is one.

If you knew the 400th person would give you an offer, would you take the first 399 rejections?

Good luck.

When I emailed them they didn't reply, but right before summer hit they decided to interview me and so I guess they saved my resume/email from a few months back. Real lucky call, but in a cold calling situation, its all about luck anyway.

When you cold e-mailed, did you email the HR contact provided on their website, or did you hunt someone down through a network / LinkedIn and email them?

Also, did you submit your application/resume on their site first and then email them?

Last year (junior year), I called literally every single firm in the city and a neighboring city (40 min drive). Got a few responses but no initial interviews. Followed up 3-4 weeks later, got 1 interview. Got 1 internship offer
