Did I make a mistake by accepting this job?

Hey folks. I want to keep this as short as possible.

Last semester of bachelors in business & economics with a little bit of background in law. Non target. Semi good grades but quite some notable extracurricular activities. Got myself a 9 month "networking" event some kind of university program at a BB after an interview process. No working, just connecting with people and HR, learning about the different divisions with their teams, sleepover at the BB's own hotel, interview simulations, one-on-one mentoring program kind of stuff. HR told later on it was quite competitive (less than 50 out of 500 got accepted). No prior work experience what so ever.

Before transitioning to my masters coming february, I thought I really really needed to gain some work experience since the job market is though, especially without experience. Fast forward, the same BB listed a position in operational risk advisory, advising corporate clients in op risk with focus on regulatory and tax (FATCA, AEI etc.). it sounded interesting to me and since i have a little bit of background in law, i thought i might as well just try an apply. i liked the aspect of advising. 4 Interviews, a few assessment tests later and a little bit of fighting on my side since no prior work experience was very uninteresting for them, i got an offer. more or less as a working student/intern. limited to end of this year, if it works for both sides, limited to end 2025 and after that full time offer.

Originally, I really wanted to land a WM job at this very bank but there was no position open.

First, I was really excited for this position but after reading some peoples opinion on op risk on reddit/WSO I kind of got the feeling thats its like the worst job out there. No exit opportunities whatsoever. I now really feel like I ruined my career already with my first job.

Am I just going nuts?
