Exit Opps for Corporate Finance @ Asset Manager

Hey all, I am currently 6 months in working a corporate finance role at a name-brand Asset Manager fresh out of college. Despite it being a very competitive program (peers range from Ivies/T15s and top state school candidates), the pay is rather underwhelming alongside other factors.

What kind of exits am I looking at? I want to try to break into more competitive lines of finance or something that pays a bit better. I will probably end up taking the L1 CFA a second time and would resort to MBA program if I'm really stuck. Was wondering if anyone with a similar/shared experience could weigh in on this? Thanks in advance!
