Experience with leveraging
Hi does leveraging offers usually work? Does it depend if HR/whoever you email saying you have other offers and want to be in a specific group is receptive or not?
Let the other firm know that you have an offer exploding on XX/XX/XX date. Say that the firm (the one whose HR you are contacting) is still your first choice and that you wanted to know if you could get an "update" on your recruiting timeline.
Note you should be leveraging at places that you already know people at or are already in the interview process with. Many banks are not going to be receptive to emails out of the blue demanding that you get pushed to a superday.
