Feels like opportunities are slipping

Hello Everyone,

Been working hard in the recruiting cycle, trying to get a job and such. I've been struggling to get anything and have had only two first-round interviews. It feels like opportunities are dwindling and I feel super trapped. I've never felt so depressed in my life. Does anyone know any firms that are still early in their processes? At this point, I don't care what it is as long as it is IB-related.

Brother, your livelihood, as difficult it is to see for someone at your stage, isn’t determined by your job. Take solace in the fact that even if you don’t get an investment banking internship, life will go on. As a 3rd year analyst who broke in from accounting a year and a half out of the college…. I’m sitting here eating my Uber eats meal mid-break from figuring out some ass backwards working capital math here to tell you everything happens for a reason. And if you work hard enough to break in, you will. Might not be now, might not be next year, but the time will come.

The master will appear when the pupil is ready.
