FP&A market

Graduating from T20 two year full time program in May and looking for work in finance, FP&A to be specific. Does experience as a FP&A in specific industries restrict you from working for another company that deals in a different industry? Or are companies in tech, for example, open to taking on someone who used to work in logistics.

Also, asking people who are looking for similar roles to comment on the job environment for finance non-IB roles. Im looking for anything where I can apply what I learned without having to go through the typical ball buster IB process

FP&A skills are very transferable. You can jump from one industry to another.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Pretty sure you should be able to jump right in from your degree. Not too sure what the market pulse is compared to IB, PE, AM (which are getting slammed). I would imagine larger F500 are in a better place than tech startups that are more sensitive to interest rates and venture funding.
