Freshman at Ivy Needs Advice on Breaking into Finance

I just made an account, but I have been lurking on this site for a long time. There are literally thousands of threads advising non-target students but very few specifically for students at targets. From our career services data, around 60-70% of econ students place into finance and consulting year over year, but placement into top investment banking and consulting firms is far from guaranteed. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to leverage my school's or alumni's resources or any advice on getting Ibanking internships later on specifically as a student at an ivy. I'm currently a freshman majoring in econ/math and minoring in stats hoping for a 3.7+ GPA for the year, and I'm interviewing for a search fund internship. I would appreciate any advice on how to go from here. For example, a timeline for what I should do would be beneficial! I appreciate the help!
