Headhunter sent my resume over to a fund without my permission
I’m 90% sure one of the team members is very close with my lead analyst and this will almost certainly get back to him. Feel pretty betrayed…What should I do?
I never would have gave the green light had I known the firm ahead of time, but since the damage was done I just politely asked the head hunter to run things by me first.
This isn’t like mercury partners or Shelby Jennings; it’s a firm that seemed to have good reviews on here
Unfortunately there's not much you really can do. Like you said, damage is done. Would there be significant fallout if it does get back to your analyst?
I'd just ask the head hunter to pull the resume. It sounds like to the extent you got asked to interview, you would say no. Realistically at alot of these places some of the analysts don't even know / are involved in interviewing process so would try to nip it at the bud.
Name and shame the headhunting firm
