Headhunters Questionnaire
I am starting to reach out to headhunters (e.g., HSP) for hedge fund positions. Some of them require questionnaires with questions akin to college application questions. For example, a required question for HSP is to talk about a personal struggle that affected me. I do have a very real example (family member with serious mental illness), but that can feel pretty taboo to write about. And I doubt these headhunters care?
Question is: Do I just put trite stories or put real, potentially very personal answers to these questions?
To be clear: they put an 'e.g.,' in the question with examples such as 'family illness' which is why I am considering it in the first place
I don't have an answer to your question, but what HSP does is the stupidest shit I've ever seen. Go talk to different recruiters who don't waste your time with college app prompts.
