How Screwed Am I?

Hey guys, I wanted to get your opinion as to how screwed I am when it comes to getting a job in investment banking or consulting.

I'm a senior and have a 3.56 GPA at NYU. I don't go to Stern, although I am an economics major. For background, I'm a white man and don't need sponsorship for any jobs here in the US.

I had a job in financial advisory, not IB, over the summer at a well-respected bank, although I worked for a small team and wasn't anywhere near NYC. I also had a previous internship doing marketing for an app a couple years ago. I know this may sound good, but I have no idea as to how to gauge my chances on getting a full-time role in IB or consulting. I assume they would be low considering my GPA and the fact that I wasn't hired for any summer analyst roles. Could I have a no-BS rating as to how screwed I am for IB? Would it also be possible, hypothetically, to get a summer internship after I graduate and then work full-time in a year? I know this seems ridiculous but I have an idea for a startup company, and maybe I could fill that yearlong gap with my potential startup company. No idea if I'd even be considered for one but it's worth it to ask.

I assume it would be a bit easier for me to get a job in consulting, but I don't know how tough the hiring is, so I'd like someone to tell me if I'm screwed or not. I heard hiring is tough and the competition is fierce, so any advice/rating is appreciated. Thank you!
