How strict are graduation dates for internships?

If the description of an internship (let it be a spring week or a summer analyst) states: "you will be graduating in 2024", how strict is that? If I apply and I'm graduating in 2025, will I be automatically rejected even if I have a really great profile just for my graduation date?

Hello , Mate

am in the same position can’t really apply for

insight days spring weeks due to me doing a 4 year degree been trying to look

for different opportunities within the finance sector tried to look at elite boutiques to mm and bb but they all seem to want second years of a 4 year degree . Am looking to apply to some wealth management firms within the city I am studying in and try to see if I can get unpaid experience through there ! But would like to connect with you through LinkedIn and we can discuss this further?

Best wishes !
