How to land a full time investment banking position?

Hi, I am a rising senior at Wellesley College, majoring in Economics. I am very interested in finance and would love some help on going about full time recruitment for investment banking.

Well first off, congratulations on making it to senior year. We'd probably want a bit more information since everyone's cases are different (did you have prior internships? do you have any connections to the industry? what did you study?) In any case, check out Mergers and Inquisitions' page about last-minute recruiting since it gives very solid advice, but at the same time, everyone's case is different.

I'd start networking as early as possible. You need to know analysts that will step up to the plate for you and vouch to HR/VPs, especially ones that will send your resume through. You'll also need to prepare for interviews. This will take the form of learning the technical side of things, behavioral, and situational interview parts. I'd take the Udemy investment banking course, along with walking through the Mergers and Inquisitions 400 questions. Good luck!
