How to make the most out of my upcoming internship and set myself up for high finance

Hello everyone, I am a 2nd year student at a non-target school. I recently signed an offer to work as a Financial Analyst intern at RBC. I got lucky and got the 200 Bay Street location, and was wondering how I could use this to my advantage. I know Bay Street is supposed to be the best place to network for high finance jobs, and was wondering if any of you had advice. Even if I don't manage to get a high finance internship next year, what would be the next logical step from here if I want to break into IB for example? I am also planning on transferring this or next year to a better university.

Notes: I believe my responsibilities mostly just entail recording S&T's Profit and Loss, and working with another team that specializes in interest rate risk and derivatives (I can't quite remember what exactly their role was, I only met them during the job interview and it was never in the description, but it seemed cool).
