How To Stand Out During Full-Time Recruitment?

Dear fellow monkeys,

I am writing this post, as I need some advice regarding recruitment for full-time, given the current market environment and my situation. For some context, I will provide a little about my background. I go to a semi-target prairie university in Canada, I am the incoming president (previously Vp) of my universities finance club, and an analyst on my universities student managed investment fund. I have interned at a local asset manager, and at a search fund. Lastly, I will be completing a corporate finance internship at one of Canada's top 6 accounting firms (which is one of the only two firms in my city with an M&A team)

I have been lucky to have had the chance to network with a lot of bankers, and some of them kindly enough, have pushed for my resume. However, on paper, my resume (I would like to think) is great. I know that it does not stack quite well with students who go to Canadian targets. The only problem that I have is my GPA, my GPA currently sits at 3.2/4.0. I will be going into my last year (I stupidly decided to leave all my easy courses until then), but I hope to try and boost my GPA then. Given that I have missed my chance to recruit for SA 2024, I was wondering how I can best stand out amongst my peers during full-time recruitment, given the current market environment. Any tips on how I can best capitalize on my networking, and what else I could do to stand out amongst my peers.

Thank you, any help, tips, or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
