Idk what to do (career advice)

Hello, I'm trying to break into finance or re-enter the finance industry. Quit my job to study finance at an older age (25ish), worked at a pretty decent bank here in the EU, mainly with EAMs and in-house trading . Now studying full-time, I feel like I'm wasting my time. Have 3 Semesters to go, and grades aren't that good to be quite frank. I didn't understand the Aderall wave until I started studying. Every single one of my study buddies is using adderall; it seems like the coke wave pre '08. I have been diagnosed with ADD and am seriously considering getting prescribed as well, especially when comparing my hours to the hours my mates can study for without even taking a bathroom break. I am well aware of the fact that adderall isn't going to make me smarter and will only improve my focus. However, just the thought of being able to sit at the desk and study for a whole day without checking any socials sounds very tempting.
On the point of wasting my time: it's not a question of studying being a waste of time, but more a question of the effort I'm putting in and the results I'm getting out of it. Grades are not that good, and I'm using 4 years of my life for a bachelor's. Also spoke to some of my friends at a top 10 HF, they all suggest locking in and as soon as I'm out of the bachelor's, start with the CFA.
Might be overthinking it all, but especially getting a job, that you don't have any vitamin B for (personal connections) to the firm you're applying to, is impossible with these grades rn. Although I already have 3 years of experience, but I doubt that makes up for it..
