Implication of Job Market Theses Next Months Post-Trump Win?

What does everything think about how the job market will change now with Trump coming in in January? Obviously, markets are reacting positively to this. Are there company waiting for this to happen so they can feel more comfortable with more hiring? As everyone know the last few months it's been quite desolate...

I can't imagine it getting any worse.

I work in healthcare and am a bit conflicted. This will increase deal flow and deregulate the space in services / payors. That's my sweet spot and I'm pumped.

EDIT: ^This aged poorly with recent events lol. https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/insurer-sto…

Bit bummed because pharma / biotech / medtech companies often pay better (the perks also rival those you see in tech, have seen a recent ex-coworker from my internship get an amazing offer in Q1 '24) and these companies usually hire aggressively in Q1. I'm not sure how they perceive Trump's possible implementation of RFK into the healthcare administration (which I think is incredibly stupid, should be someone of credibility like Vivek).

Still recruiting and having a lot of coffee chats (occasional interviews) but I'm hoping to have a signed offer by the end of January / early Feb. I don't think I'll convert anything before New Years unfortunately. It sucks for the time being but am very very happy to see Trump come back.

Interesting, I am really interested in healthtech and the implications of this new administration myself. Isn't it a big focus of Trump to bring healthcare company supply chains back to the US from China or face high tariffs and therefore increasing the cost base? Isn't this bad for the industry?
