Include This In My Resume?

I currently moderate one of the largest forums on the internet (over 600K members and thousands of threads created each day). I'm one of about twenty five members who have been selected. Would it be wise to include this in my resume, or would it look like I'm just trying to put stuff there?

If incorporated, it would not be a major part. Maybe just a line or two, explaining my title and what I do (management, customer service, etc.).

I would particularly advise you to mention this if it is a porn forum...it shows leadership and horniness in general.

Nothing demonstrates leadership better than being leader for your CS clan :-)

Yeah. You'll give the impression of being a procrastinator. Real smart.... Unless its some sort of finance related forum, there is no upside to saying that you waste time in this manner

As you can see, this will unfortunately create a nerdiness perception, unless you get lucky and your CV lands with a fellow computer head. So unless it's business related, I would omit it.

Curios to what it is though, so feel freem to pm me with the URL. No need to disclose your moderator nick, of course.

Man, some of you guys seem to be kiddin'...What do you think: Recruiters go through resumes and when they already wanted to throw the resume in the bin suddenly they grasp: moderator of a fitness thread (one of chosen 25 users). In a second they take the resume back and put in on the staple "Fitness Thread Moderators". And all the guys get an offer and a free gym membership and the obligation to give the MD a daily Lingam massage.
