Internship Before College?

Hello everyone! I have recently just graduated from high school, and I am going to be a freshman at a target school this Fall. I am looking forward to pursuing a path related to IB, thus the reason why I am so precautious in terms of not missing out on any advantageous career opportunities moving forward. This urges me to ask whether I was supposed to find a finance related internship this summer or if I should just wait until the summer of my freshman year in college.

Any advice and guidance is highly appreciated!

Thank you!

Before college if you can just do a start up internship or any "work experience" internship (but this is not required) if you really want to. And then in Freshman do a small PE/search fund/PWM internship (via reaching out / networking) which would set up nicely to boutique IB/PE internship in Sophomore summer and then a full recruiting cycle.
