Internship vs. Networking

So I will be graduating college next summer and unfortunately I will soon need a job. Given all this talk about how important networking is for non-targets (me), I am wondering if I would be better off spending this fall trying to nurture the very few contacts I have in the industry or trying to fit in another internship. At this point I only have two finance-related internships that aren't really related to where I want to end up (structuring) which is why i'm tempted to search for something that relates. What do y'all monkeys think?

What does "networking" actually consist of? Ask yourself this and you'll see that there's no reason you shouldn't do both.

Networking is something that happens over a successful career (nascent as it may be).

in it 2 win it

I want to do both but I don't think I will have the time if i'm interning and taking 5 upper level classes. I can meet people for info. interviews on the weekend but no trader wants to be bothered by a job-seeking undergrad on the weekend. The only possible networking i can think of is through e-mail or squeezing in a phone call but those methods aren't as effective as meeting in person. I feel like networking would be more beneficial since it is less time consuming and it will allow me more time to prepare for interviews.

All other input is welcome.
