Interview coaching and comp structure

Hello WSO members,

I am currently seeking an interview coach who can help me land an allocator job. I want someone who can help with fund investment pitches and also some financial modeling. I also want someone to do mock interviews etc. Something very important to me is alignment. I offered a previous interview coach $20/hr (which is likely below market) but also a $3000 cash bonus when/if I get a medium-to-high conviction role. Do you think this comp structure makes sense? Do you think an interview coach is worth it?

Hey OP, I am currently working at one of the big allocators and would be happy to tutor you, but personally my minimum hourly rate would be $150. On the weekends, I also tutor people trying to get into Ivy schools and charge $100 per hour so I highly doubt you will find someone at an allocator (small universe and usually IBD / PE laterals) for any less than this.
