Is this an instant ding?

I had an interview where I was asked about my experience for a student-run investment club I was in. I said during my time in the club I did 10 stock pitches, I didn't realize on my resume that I listed I did 7, and my interviewer instantly asked me to repeat the number I said. I just repeated the number and said, "including ones I helped out on," because I genuinely forgot what I put on my resume, as this experience was from three years ago. To make things worse on my resume, I listed that I was initially put on the RE team. However, I didn't list that I later switched over to the consumer, so when he asked what my pitches were about, I said mostly about the consumer sector, which is true. He didn't question at all why I put RE if he even noticed. Does this make it seem like I was lying intentionally? Will this result in  a ding? The rest of the interview went great.

First of all, you need to know your resume better, no matter how old the experience you have listed is. But it seems like the part about being in the correct sector would be something your interviewer questions if he has doubts. Meaning he probably understood that RE was just the sector you first joined. As for the number discrepancy, it seems like it is really up to interpretation, but I would not say it's a guaranteed ding.

I would personally assume you had done 7 when you applied and had subsequently done 3 more in the time to the interview. Weird thing to ask you about

I agree it was weird he asked for such details about my experiences. I had the experience as something I already completed and was no longer a part of so maybe that's why.
