JPMC Application "Under Review" Status for 2+ weeks

So, I had applied to JPM a little over 2 weeks ago for an analyst opportunity that supposedly starts in June 2024 and my application still says "Under Review" (the same status as when I first applied). JPM had also taken down the job post 2 days after I had applied but I'm fairly sure that the job hasn't been filled yet.

Given that my application has been "under review" for over 2 weeks already, should I just assume that I'm likely to get rejected or is this just more of a function of a slower moving hiring processes?

Thanks!

Over the last 4 years of applying to jobs/internships, I’ve had 100s of them that said “under review” for 6+ months. Some even said “under review” as long as through the summer and past the start date. I once got a rejection email for a summer internship in November after the internship should have occurred. So “under review” does not meaning anything.

That said, 2 weeks is not a long time, you might still have a chance at an interview. There’s no way to tell.

JPM interviews REALLY slow, but the review status can safely be assumed to be a rejection if you don’t hear anything back from it after 3 weeks of applying
