Most flexible finance jobs?

What are some of the most flexible/autonomous finance jobs out there in the sense that:

-- "I have an appointment at my doc at 11am, I'll work 3 hours this morning and after lunch I'll continue".

-- "Today I want to finish at 5pm because I want to go on a date, maybe I'll go through the what remains at 11pm, if not then it will wait tomorrow"

I'm seriously considering entrepreneurship, even a small business, only to have this schedule freedom which is extremely important for me. But I also like finance and I could see myself long-term in that. But the best position seems to be in corporations where even if you don't have work, you can't go out and do other personal responsibilities, instead you need to hang around the office to see what may arise (or wHy YoUr nOt oFfErIng TO HeLp Ur tEaM).

I mean, easily put: Something where results matter and as long as you deliver then you can do whatever you want.

I searched for years for a flexible job and finally found a small PE firm that lets me do what I want outside of the Zoom calls. I have to attend 6 - 8 Zoom meetings per week. Everything else is WFH. I also spend time taking care of my parents so needed the flexibility.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Big reason I landed in FI was the work/life balance, pay is garbage but good enough, but I can WFH usually and have solid flexibility, I workout for an hour everyday around lunch time and no one seems to mind. I view it as a way to retain people by paying them less but being open to weird schedules. Mornings still suck and are go-go-go, but by noon its wide open.
