Networking summer before college
Incoming freshman at what is likely gonna be Washington and Lee. Is networking the summer before going to college weird? I want to start building relationships now so it doesn't just look like I am talking to someone so they can push my resume when recruiting season comes. Would you think this was weird if someone did this to you?

I mean in the defense of people that are doing this, recruiting schedule is so far ahead that won't you be applying like middle/end of freshman year for sophomore internships?
Nah you apply around January of sophomore. That’s why you network for the 4 months before. Good luck and don’t do this, people just won’t like you.
