Networking for sure. It doesn't need to take a ton of time, but the marginal benefit from that extra hour of networking is almost always higher than the marginal benefit of an extra hour of studying.

Also be smart about, there are no prizes for sending 1000 cold emails out. If a BB comes to your campus for an info session it is probably a good use of time to go, meet some people and then follow-up with them.

How are you asking this question? As a high school or college student? Networking helps but going to a top school and doing well will get you there more quickly and more easily. For example, if you go to Harvard or Wharton and have a 3.9 and don't drool on yourself but haven't networked you've got a far, far better chance than a kid who goes to Shitstain State U. with a 2.9 but has networked his ass off.
