Post-meeting advice?

Met with an MD of a global bank last Monday. He gave me a few advice on the projects I need to include on my resume. I asked if I can send my resume to him to proofread and he said yes. He also said to browse through the company website for positions I’m interested in and let him know— he’ll try to get some insights for them. I sent the post-meeting thank you email along with my updated resume and links to the positions I’m interested in on Monday night as well.

He accepted my connection request on LinkedIn but have not replied to my email. How do I follow up so he can get back to my email? Should I message him on LinkedIn and thank him for the connection request and let him know I sent my resume to him via email?

SB: I’ve applied to the positions I sent him and was already rejected from 1 of them 😅

I literally been in those exact shoes, and was ultimately ghosted. IMO, follow up but if they’re constantly ghosting or not redirecting you to st that’s better suited for you (have you checked out this Role, or talked to this person) then I think sometimes they’re just being nice. It totally depends on your vibes with the MD

thanks for your input! The following day, I’ve also received a text from a contact at a non-profit I’ve met him in and my contact told me that the MD says hi (they met with him the following day). Just hate how I’ve been getting my hopes up and down these past few months 😅
