private banking or commercial real estate brokerage

I just graduated with a finance degree and accepted a job in private banking in miami. I also interned with this company last summer. I am from philly and am interested in commercial real estate brokerage because I like real estate and i know the earning potential is high after a couple of years. I also know that with private banking, you wont make big bucks till you are older.

I want to be in Miami, but CRE brokerage is 100% commission so i would not be able to afford living here whereas with the Private banking job, I can afford it since i have stable income. if I did CRE brokerage I would have to live at home in philly for a couple of years.

Should I stick it out with the private banking job and save up enough money to be able to transition into CRE brokerage? Is brokerage even a good idea to get into now with how high interest rates are?

I have this fear of missing out of higher earnings potential at a young age and I really just need some good advice to set me straight from anyone whether you are in Private Banking, CRE brokerage, or just anyone with good professional advice.

Is the opportunity with the Private bank a good move? Is Miami a good spot to be? Should i get into CRE brokerage and when? I am highly sales oriented and want to be in a client facing role. Thank You
