Problem with job description
Hi,
a headhunter has sent me the following description of a job and there are a couple fo things I do not really understand. Check the responsabilities:
The person will be responsible for identifying and developing on global basis business opportunities with top groups.
Obtain a process and relevant information of key products such as Syndicated Loan, Bonds, Cash Management, Rates Products from corporate clients that can be transformed into business opportunities.
Is this an IBD or a DCM job? OR perhaps even Corporate Banking? How much is usually paid in a job described as being part of the "Corporate & Investment Banking" Division?
With this description, what are the likely day-to-day activities? Do you think this sounds like a good role for learning and then getting into acquisition and leveraged finance?
What do you think would be the exit options of taking something like this? I have already written to the hh for more info, but I don't really get the descriprion. Any comments?
I think I was presented with a similar opportunity. Is this a large international bank (Asian, not European)?
The bank sounds like DBS
