Received a Pre-Adverse Action Notice from a BB
Hi everyone,
I recently got an offer from a boutique bank contingent on passing the background checks. Now I received a pre-adverse action notice from the bank as a result of social media background checks. The social media background check report contained flagged posts from my old twitter account. These were posts that I liked. Some of these posts had the F word and words like "shit" but they were not used in a harmful or inappropriate context. How do I go about this?

I honestly think it depends on the bank. I was made aware that there would be a social media check but I don’t even have access to the Twitter account they included in my report. It’s an old account.
For reference sake, this was one of the flagged posts that I liked. “Adulting is fucking tiring”

Was the account in your full name and/or photo? or the email address you used for it was your legal name?
No it wasnt in my full name neither did it have my email address. The 3rd party company somehow found it.
