Rip off? You tell me

The investment group at my school is advertising that Wall Street Training is coming for a 2 day seminar for $100. Whereas every other prep/boot camp program I see is much more expensive. Anyone have any knowledge on this?

2 days for $100? Absolutely do it. I learned more in 3 hours with Wall St. Training than I did with two days from another place (can't remember the name).

Check out their website www.wallst-training.com

We had the Hamilton Lin guy as an instructor. The guy was hilarious. Just make sure you actually pay attention the whole time. He taught us from 9-noon on a Saturday morning. He knew all of us were hungover, and continually called people out when he knew they weren't paying attention. At least it was funny for the rest of us.

I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I did it, totally worth it. I got a discount for $75 at my school and like others said, I learned more in those 2 days than I did all year. Just a tip, make sure you know the main excel shortcuts (copy down, copy right, copy/paste etc) because our teacher moved pretty quickly. Great value for money, I would def do it again.

They're probably subsidizing the cost. I was talking to them as well to do it through my investment club, but the plan didn't go through. I later wound up doing the $200 basic package; not totally worth the price, but at $100 and with in-person instruction, I think it's most definitely worth it.
